LEITHABERG RED. There’s an ideal place in the Leitha mountains called the Riede Ungerberg. Its chalk and slate soil are typical for the Leitha mountains – whereas slate predominates at Ungerberg. I maturate this Blaufränkisch for 24 months in used barriques which emphasizes its terroir and gives this wine the potential to be stored for a long time.
