SYRAH. Cultivating varietal Syrah was quite a trend in Austria some time ago – it’s a pity this trend seems to be over. The grapes need time to fully ripen – it might take almost all autumn. The autumn sun has an easy job warming up Seeberg’s sandy soil, which gives the wine a nice aroma and the cool scent that’s so typical for these vines.
